Good Evening, Shadow is resting tonight after his first Chemo treatment today. His blood test which they do first came out good so he got his first treatment. He did wonderful and on our way home we stopped and got him a treat. He came home, his brothers and sister ( dogs) were very happy to see him. He had dinner and now is resting on the couch next to me. We go in a week for another blood test than three weeks from now another chemo treatment.

Good Afternoon,

Shadow is almost 5 weeks post op already. I can’t believe how time flys. He is doing wonderful. His hair is growing back already. He is is up to his old tricks again. Giving husky hugs, trying to open doors and running around like normal. We did have the follow up appointment with the doctor and what we feared it was cancer course the worst kind but we are going to start chemotherapy and he starts Thursday. I know he is going to do great! He is back to eating and drinking like normal. He still has some hard time getting up when he try it to quick. We haven’t tried steps to much I am still sleeping upstairs with him on the main floor so he doesn’t have to go up and down the steps. That’s about all I have to report for now. Wow!!! 2 weeks tomorrow since Shadow surgery!!! Time flys. As I write this Shadow is laying next to me with with his younger brother Loki. Yes we finally have a 4 dogs together. Shadow gets to come out and lay with pack instill he get tired or they get to busy for him. He is enjoying it so much. His other little brother Thor follows him around keeping a eye on him!! Its so cute. We have gave up taking Shadow out on a leash we have a fenced in yard so he can’t get out. He goes potty and comes right back in. We go Thursday morning to get the staples out and speak with the oncologist. Pray for good news!!!

Well pretty lazy day today. The normal day for me laundry, dishes and cooking. Today we had a wicked storm the afternoon  of course after I hung clothes on the line. Shadow had a another good day, spent alot of time out of his recovery room. He sat with me while I ate breakfast , he came out for pizza night and enjoyed alot of crust. He finally drank regular water out the dog bowl. After our dinner and his, Shadow layed in the living room for over a a hour just enjoying his family around him. Right now he is laying in bed at my feet and we are watching tv together. Best way to spend my friday night!!!
