When we found Shadow or he found us we already had one dog, our black lab kodie. We rescued shadow from our local spca. Shadow is a husky/Shepherd mix and is a tall boy. He loves to give husky hugs and worries about what everyone is doing. He is now 9 years old. We had got him at the age of about 9 months. As a puppy he got along with his brother Kodie. Shadow was a pretty bad puppy, he got himself out of every cage and learned to open doors. You never knew what mess you would come home to and we came home to alot of them. As he grew up he has become everyone buddy. Always welcoming you when you walk into the house carrying something in his mouth from a ball to a pair of socks. As he got older so did kodie and unfortunately we lost kodie that was hard on all of us especially shadow. Kodie and Shadow even though years apart in age had become best friends. Shadow didn’t like that he was the only dog so we got him a friend and rescued another dog, this time we got another puppy another black lab but this time we got sasha girl. Sasha and Shadow are about 2 years apart but are really good friends. Many years later my mom really wanted another dog but a pure breed husky, so we started looking and in January of 2014 Loki found us, he is a pure breed husky who was 1 at the time now he is 3. ( but wait I am not done there) Than there is Thor!!! Thor came to us a rescue from a local pet shop, he had a third grade heart murmer and said he probably wouldn’t make it a couple months, Thor also a pure breed husky was brought home and we took care of him, that was over a year ago. He is now 1 1/2 and has no heart murmer. He is active husky. So we have a zoo here and yes we have a fenced in yars, actually 2 fences.
